Contractor website redesign

A three-truck plumber's 2009 website rebuilt as one fast, phone-first page in two business days: tap-to-call everywhere, a 20-second form, flat-price promise, emergency band, reviews. Before and after. Example business, real work.

our website is embarrassing. my nephew made it in 2009 and nothing has changed since except the phone number. last month two people told us they called someone else because the site "looked closed."

what we do: residential plumbing. 3 trucks. me + 2 licensed plumbers + an apprentice. 24/7 emergency. water heaters (tank and tankless), drain cleaning, repipes, sewer camera + repair, fixture installs, gas lines. about 25 miles around town. licensed and insured, 19 yrs. 300ish google reviews, 4.9. we quote a flat price before we start, always. free estimates on water heaters and repipes. $89 drain special for first-time customers.

please do NOT make it look like every other plumber. no blue, no wrench logo, no stock photo family smiling at a faucet.

photos attached of the trucks and the guys (6). can it be one page, with the phone number big, and a form. it has to work on phones, that's where everyone finds us. screenshot of the old site attached so you can see what we're dealing with.

Attached: 6 phone photos (trucks, two of the crew on jobs), a screenshot of the 2009 site, the Google Business Profile link.

Understood: one page, phone-first, the number tap-to-call everywhere, a short form, 24/7 emergency, flat price before work starts, 19 years, the $89 drain special for first-timers. Not blue, not a wrench, not a stock family. We use your six photos and the Google reviews.

What we will send: the finished page as one file that works on any host (yours included), full-page screenshots on desktop and phone, and a before/after you can show the crew.

What we need: where the form should land. Your inbox is fine to start.

Lands: two business days.

Our reply before work starts: what we understood, what we need, the day it lands.

The result

Finished one-page site in a single HTML file (fonts from Google, images embedded, no build step): tap-to-call everywhere, sticky mobile call bar, services, how-we-price, emergency band, reviews, FAQ, 20-second form. Plus the recreated 2009 'before' page, full-page desktop and mobile screenshots, and a before/after composite.

What it took

Rebuilt the site as a single fast page around the two things that win plumbing calls on a phone (a tap-to-call number everywhere and a 20-second form), wrote the copy from the owner's own rules (flat price before work, 24/7, 19 years), and gave it a look that is not blue and not a wrench.

Usually next: The next request after a site like this is usually a landing page for the ads, or the missed-call text-back so the new calls do not go to voicemail.

Photos in this sample are generated stand-ins; the real site uses the owner's six photos. The form posts to a placeholder endpoint; on a real job we wire it to the owner's inbox or CRM (Formspree, Netlify Forms or the booking tool in the operations sample). No real address, phone or license number appears anywhere in this sample.

Two quick questions

How long does a contractor website redesign take?
This one took 2 business days, counted from the moment we had what we needed. Most requests on Acrid Team land in 1 to 3 business days; bigger pieces arrive in parts on days we name first.
Do I need to move my hosting?
No. Most of what we build is a page or a set of pages that drops onto the host you already have. If you want us to set up hosting, it goes in your name and you hold the login.
