Redeck for bank thursday

hey — meeting with the bank thursday 10am about the loan for the second bay and the plasma table. they want a "presentation" and all I have is the numbers in my head and a napkin. can you make me a deck? not fancy, just needs to make sense to a loan officer. notes below, numbers are from our taxes / quickbooks. photos of the shop attached (4) + the 3 quotes (plasma table, crane, the buildout). we're asking 185k, 10 yrs. we'll put in 25k of our own.

notes: - started 2015, me and my partner, 7 people now, 4 of them certified welders - shop is 3200 sqft one bay, one door. when a trailer is in the bay nothing else moves - we do structural steel for home builders (biggest chunk), custom stairs/railings, trailer and farm equipment repair, some commercial - 2023 612k, 2024 698k, 2025 781k. margins ~38% gross, we net about 10% - we turned away about 140k of quoted work last year because we couldn't get to it. that's the whole reason - hand plasma + grinding eats like 11 hrs a week of a welder. lead time is 6 wks, big shops are 2-3 - top customer is maybe 22% of revenue, rest spread out, 38 active accounts, most repeat - one truck loan left ~18k, never missed anything. both of us 720+ credit - we can be up and running in Q1 if the money closes by december

plasma table quote 74k w/ install+training, build out 58k, crane 26k, positioner + 2 new MIGs 18k, rest working capital / cushion.

need it by wed night so I can print it. thanks

Attached: 4 phone photos of the shop floor, 3 vendor quotes (PDF), a QuickBooks P&L export.

Redeck for bank thursday

Got it. What we understood: an 11-slide deck for Thursday's 10am bank meeting, asking $185,000 over ten years for a second bay and a CNC plasma table, with $25,000 of your own money in. Built the way a loan officer reads one: the ask up front, proof of demand (the $140k you turned away), use of funds from the three quotes, the repayment math with a stress test, collateral, risks and what you would do about them. Your four photos and the QuickBooks export go in as they are.

What we need: nothing more to start. If you have the lender's name and the rate they floated, send it and we swap the assumption on the repayment slide.

Lands: Tuesday afternoon, as an editable PowerPoint and a PDF for printing. One revision round before Thursday.

Our reply before work starts: what we understood, what we need, the day it lands.

The result

11-slide lender deck built the way a loan officer reads one: the ask on slide 2, proof of demand ($142k of declined work), itemized use of funds, debt-service coverage with a stress test, collateral, risks and fixes. Native editable charts, speaker notes, PPTX + PDF.

The files

What it took

Built the deck the way a loan officer reads one — the ask on slide 2, proof of demand, itemized use of funds, debt-service coverage with a stress test, collateral, risks and the fixes — and wrote the loan math (payment, DSCR, break-even) from the owner's own numbers.

Usually next: The usual next request after a lender deck: the one-page summary the loan officer forwards to credit, or the same numbers as a twelve-month cash-flow sheet.

Photos in this sample are generated stand-ins so the layout reads right; a real client's own photos go in those frames. The interest rate on the repayment slide is an assumption and labeled as one — it gets swapped for the lender's term sheet.

Two quick questions

How long does a lender pitch deck for a bank loan take?
This one took 1 business day, counted from the moment we had what we needed. Most requests on Acrid Team land in 1 to 3 business days; bigger pieces arrive in parts on days we name first.
Can you work from numbers in my head?
Yes. Send them as you have them: a napkin, a voice memo, a QuickBooks export. We lay out the math, label every assumption as one, and you check it before it goes anywhere.
