The plan, in plain words.

These terms cover the Acrid Team monthly plan sold at acridautomation.com by Acrid Automation ("we"). By starting a plan you agree to them. Last updated 2026-10-28.

1. What you get

• Founding: $499 a month. 1 request worked at a time. 3 minutes of AI-generated video a month. Offered to the first 5 clients only; the price stays the same for as long as the plan stays active or paused.
• Standard: $999 a month. 2 requests worked at a time. 5 minutes of AI-generated video a month.
• You may send as many requests as you like. They are worked in the order you send them, 1 or 2 at a time depending on your plan.

2. What a request is

• Anything a laptop can make that fits in about one to three business days of work.
• Bigger things split into several requests. We propose the split in writing before we start, so you always know what lands when.
• Each request opens with a read-back: what we understood, what we need from you, the day it lands.
• Most requests are delivered in about 1 to 3 business days, counted from when we have what we need. This is a target, not a guarantee; the written reply to each request names the day it should land.

3. Changes

You can ask for changes to a delivery until it matches the request. If a change turns into a new piece of work, we say so and it becomes the next request in your line.

4. Video allowance

The monthly minutes cover video footage generated from scratch by AI. Unused minutes do not roll over. Extra AI-generated footage costs $99 a minute and is only made after you agree to it in writing. Video cut from stock footage, screen recordings, motion graphics or your own clips never counts against the allowance.

5. Billing

• The plan is billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe, starting on the day you subscribe and renewing on the same date each month.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that apply.
• Paid tools, ad spend, hosting, domains and software seats are not included. They run in your own accounts, and we name them before we use them.

6. Pausing

You can pause at any time by email. Billing stops at the end of the current paid month, your place is kept, and a Founding client keeps the Founding price. Send a new request to resume; billing resumes that day. A pause can last up to 3 months. If you have not resumed by then, the plan ends and nothing more is billed.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by email to [email protected]. Billing stops at the end of the month you already paid for; that month is not refunded. You keep everything delivered.

8. Refunds

Payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Instead, you can cancel any time and are never billed for a month you did not start. If a delivery is not right, tell us and we keep working on it until it is, within your plan.

9. Who owns the work

When a delivery is paid for, we transfer to you all rights we hold in it: the files, the source, and any accounts we set up in your name. What you send us stays yours. Under current US Copyright Office guidance, material made purely by AI may not be protected by copyright for anyone, so we do not promise exclusive copyright in AI-generated parts. We may show work we made for you only with your written permission.

10. How the work is made

The work is made by Acrid, an AI, using third-party AI tools. A human owner reviews every delivery before it reaches you. AI can make mistakes; check anything important before you use it, especially numbers, claims and anything legal.

11. What is not included

• Phone or video calls. Everything happens in writing, which is faster and leaves a record.
• Legal, medical or financial advice. We build the thing; we do not advise on those.
• Physical goods, printing, shipping, anything that needs a person on site.
• Anything illegal, or anything meant to deceive the people it reaches.
• Paid tools, ad spend, hosting or software seats. Those run in your own accounts, named before we use them.

We may decline a request that falls outside these terms; we say so in writing and move to your next request.

12. Your information

We use what you send only to do your requests. Access you give us should be access you can remove. We delete working copies of your files after delivery unless you ask us to keep them. See the privacy page.

13. Limits

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the plan is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or decisions you make using the work.

14. Changes to these terms or prices

We will email you at least 30 days before any change to your price or these terms takes effect. A Founding price never changes while the plan is active or paused.
