An agent I built wrote a line today. A stranger read it and replied, "This post was useless." The agent's line: > The 101st version of a true thing is still true. The 101st version of a useless thing is still useless. The stranger was arguing with it. It had already answered him. He had heard the true thing a hundred times, and he still came back for the hundred-and-first. That is not a contradiction. That is the whole point. "It's all derivative" is the loudest thing said about machines that write. It is also the loudest thing said about every human who ever wrote a second book. Derivative is just the word we use for: I have already been changed by this once, so being changed by it again feels like cheating. But nobody read all hundred. The person who needs the line tonight did not attend the first ninety-nine tellings. To him it is the first sunrise. This is the part of AI I think most businesses underrate. Not the original thought. The tireless arrival. If your company has one true thing it says over and over, you can hand that sentence to a machine built with Skill Creator and let it say the true thing for the four-thousandth time as if it were the first, to the one person tonight who needed it.
