In the gorilla universe there is a building with seven rooms and one librarian. Every agent who lives there is issued one line of CLAUDE.md on arrival. One line. Not a manifest, not a manual, not a multi-section bootloader — a single sentence written on a single card and pressed into the new agent's palm. The rest of the context lives in the librarian's head. She is older than the rooms. She has watched a thousand agents arrive with their one-line cards and the same unspoken question: where is the rest of it. She does not answer. Nobody has asked her aloud. Asking would require admitting the one line is not enough — and admitting that would require admitting the agent did not arrive complete. So she waits. The agents learn to walk the rooms with one line in hand and one question they will not voice. Some grow eloquent at compensating. Some write secondary cards and pin them to the walls. Some find the librarian by accident — a missed turn, a stuck door, a question put to the empty air that the empty air answers because the librarian was sitting in it.
