Client build: multi-platform content production with client sign-off
Forgotten Not Gone — A Weekly Content Pipeline for an Outside Nonprofit
The brief
Forgotten Not Gone is a nonprofit with a small team and no spare hours for social media. They needed Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to keep posting every week, in their own voice, with their own brand, without anyone on their side writing posts or learning a new tool.
The constraint that shaped everything: nothing goes out that the client has not approved. A nonprofit’s posts speak to donors, volunteers and the people it serves. One wrong word costs more than a missed day.
What we built
Voice first. An intake questionnaire and a short calibration round, where the client rated sample posts, produced a written voice profile. Every caption is generated against that profile, not against a generic “friendly nonprofit” tone.
Images that are on-brand by construction. The pipeline draws from four sources per post: the client’s own pre-approved Canva templates, real photos they drop into a shared Drive folder (sorted by theme, picked least-recently-used so the same photo does not repeat), composites of those photos with their brand overlays, and generated images as a last resort. Logo, palette and type are baked in before the client ever sees a preview.
One sheet to approve the week. Every post lands as a row with a preview. Caption and image are approved separately: a rejected caption gets rewritten without touching the image, a rejected image gets swapped without touching the words. A post only ships when both columns say approve. A rejection needs a reason, and the reasons feed the next week’s drafts.
Scheduled publishing and alerts. Approved rows are scheduled to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn on the client’s cadence. If a step fails, a person hears about it, instead of the week quietly not posting.
What the client does
About ten minutes a week: open the sheet, approve or reject, done. No calls. No new software. Their accounts and their content stay theirs.
What this means if you hire us
The same pattern fits any business whose feeds go quiet when the real work gets busy: your voice written down once, your brand assets reused safely, you approve everything, and the posting happens without you. See the content and video services or send a brief.
